Institutional Status & Regulatory Information
Rochester University is a private institution and, while as an institution operating under a religious exemption, it is not required to undergo the full approval process by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), it should be stated that, as per the California Education Code § 94897 (l), approval to operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009, and the regulations of the CEC section given above.
